Up for auction is a charming collection of 4 mid-century German hand-painted porcelain figurines featuring iconic German makers. This vintage set includes a Dutch child pair by Cortendorf, along with two early 1950s Goebel factory figures. Each piece is crafted with fine ceramic detail, displaying a smooth matte glaze and soft, hand-painted coloration that makes them wonderful display accents for vintage porcelain collectors.

The first pair features a Dutch boy and girl produced in Bavaria, West Germany by Cortendorf (Porzellanfabrik Cortendorf) around the 1950s to 1960s. Dressed in traditional attire with classic wooden clogs, the standing pair includes a girl in a blue dress and bonnet holding her apron, and a boy in an orange double-breasted jacket and cap. Both pieces bear the distinct Cortendorf crowned "C" backstamp on their bases, with the boy retaining his original back foil label.

The second pair consists of two Goebel factory figurines produced in Germany during the early 1950s. This set includes a kneeling boy playing a flute dressed in a feathered hat, along with a standing angel child in a green robe holding a lantern and a small bird. Both figures feature blue-stamped Goebel factory trademarks on their underside, including the desirable 1950–1955 "Full Bee in V" (TMK-2) logo mark and an incised 1951 copyright date.

Measurements across the lot range from approximately 3.5 inches to 5.25 inches in height, making this a compact and cohesive display group. All four pieces present nicely with light, age-appropriate surface wear consistent with vintage ceramic display items. Originating from renowned German porcelain workshops, this 4-piece lot is a fantastic addition for collectors of mid-century European ceramics, Goebel figures, or rustic European folk decor.

6. BUYER’S PREMIUM & TAX: A 12% Buyer’s Premium and applicable sales tax will be added to all purchases.
