This gorgeous two-piece American Drew highboy armoire is the kind of furniture that makes a room stand at attention. The upper cabinet features a dentil molding cornice crown, arched raised panel doors with antiqued brass bail hardware, and two interior drawers behind those handsome doors. The lower chest base rides on classic cabriole legs, showcasing a carved fan shell center drawer flanked by two additional drawers with period-correct bail pulls, all locking up tight with keyhole escutcheons. Stamped model numbers TG-253 (upper) and TG-292 (lower) confirm this is a matched set, inspector-approved by American Drew Inc., with the piece measuring approximately 39 inches wide and standing proud at roughly 7 feet tall. There is some finish wear including a few white heat or water marks on the interior shelf floor, visible in the photos, but the solid mahogany construction is sound and the piece presents beautifully from across the room.
