Every single medal arrives sealed in its original commemorative cover, postmarked from the capital city of the state it honors on the medal's First Day of Issue, making each piece a time-stamped artifact of American numismatic history. The collection is housed in a handsome navy blue leather-bound album and includes the original Franklin Mint letter from Vice President of Collector Relations William F. Krieg, confirming completion of the full 50-medal run including the final Hawaii piece. Provenance is pristine -- originally addressed to Herbert Monroe Elam of Morehead, Kentucky -- and the covers, medals, and album all present in exceptional condition for a set from the early-to-mid 1970s.

6. BUYER’S PREMIUM & TAX: A 12% Buyer’s Premium and applicable sales tax will be added to all purchases.

8. EXTENDED BIDDING: Bids placed near closing automatically extend the lot by 3 minutes until bidding stops.
