Miller design, this piece was created with expert consultation from famed nature specialist and artist Jim Lockhart (author of Portraits of Nature). The decanter depicts a vibrant blue jay perched on a rustic, oak-leaf and acorn base, with the head serving as the original removable stopper.

This exceptional collector's piece comes unusually complete, retaining its original metallic gold paper hangtag, the front "Beam's Trophy" product label (identifying 100-month-old, 86-proof bourbon), and the red U.S. Internal Revenue tax stamp intact around the neck. The base is fully stamped with factory markings: "Creation of James B. Beam Distilling Co.," "Genuine Regal China," "© C. Miller 1969," and "Liquor Bottle."
