Description
This game-used Louisville Bats New Era 59FIFTY cap was worn by right-handed pitcher Julian Garcia during his 2026 season with Triple-A Louisville. The cap features a navy crown, bright red bill, and the classic Louisville “LB” logo embroidered in red and white. Inside, “Garcia” is handwritten beneath the crown, directly identifying the cap to the player, and the fitted size is 7 1/8.
Garcia’s path to the Major Leagues is a terrific baseball perseverance story. Originally drafted by the Philadelphia Phillies in the 10th round of the 2016 MLB Draft, he spent years in affiliated baseball before continuing his career in independent ball. After a standout 2025 season with the Kansas City Monarchs, Cincinnati signed him and assigned him to the Reds system. He opened 2026 with Louisville and pitched well enough to have his contract selected by Cincinnati on June 22. Garcia made his Major League debut the following day at age 31. MLB.com
And he didn’t simply reach the Majors — he stuck. Through September 11, Garcia has posted a 2.98 ERA and a 0.94 WHIP across 30 appearances for Cincinnati, making his journey from independent baseball to the Reds one of the better underdog stories in the organization this season. MLB.com
Certified authentic as game-used by the Louisville Bats.
For Reds fans, Louisville Bats collectors, or anyone who appreciates a player who simply refused to let the dream die, this Julian Garcia cap has a lot more story behind it than your average piece of game-used equipment. Bid accordingly — perseverance looks pretty good in red and navy.
