Description

This is a handsome vintage long dresser -- likely from the 1970s or early 1980s -- finished in warm beautiful cathedral grain pattern throughout. The piece features six exterior drawers flanking a center bi-fold door cabinet, which opens to reveal three additional hidden drawers behind those gorgeous bookmatched sunburst-patterned doors, bringing the total storage count to nine drawers plus the cabinet space. Hardware throughout is brass-toned campaign-style bail pulls and flush ring pulls, giving it that classic military-meets-Mid-Century swagger that designers are currently losing their minds over. Condition is overall very good for its age with the drawers showing dovetail joinery construction and sliding smoothly, though the back panel does show some finish wear and white water marks or heat blemishes that are visible only from the rear -- the front and top present well and would respond beautifully to a light refinishing or can be styled as-is for that perfectly lived-in look.
