This grouping includes a chrome-plated Imperia manual pasta machine accompanied by a large hand-painted ceramic serving plate. The pasta machine features a polished metal body with a hand crank fitted with a wooden handle and a tabletop clamp for securing the unit during use. A detachable double-cutter attachment is included for producing different pasta widths. The accompanying ceramic plate measures approximately 13 1/2 inches in diameter and is decorated with hand-painted illustrations of vegetables and condiments labeled “Spaghetti,” “Chili,” “Salad,” “Pepper,” and “Pasta.”
The pasta machine is the Imperia Model SP.150, produced in Torino, Italy by Imperia (I.P.S. Torino), a manufacturer known for manual pasta machines used in home kitchens during the mid-to-late 20th century. The unit is constructed of chrome-plated steel with approximately 6-inch rollers and is designed to roll dough through multiple thickness settings before cutting noodles using the attached “Tipo Lusso S.P.150” cutter assembly. The included ceramic plate was produced by Los Angeles Potteries and features a hand-painted decorative design typical of mid-century American kitchenware.
The set includes the main roller unit, the detachable Lusso double-cutter attachment, the hand crank with wooden handle, and a metal table clamp. The body of the machine is marked “IMPERIA MADE IN ITALY – TORINO,” while the cutter attachment is stamped “TIPO LUSSO S.P.150.” The original red Imperia box marked “mod. SP.150” and printed with the Italian slogan “la migliore macchina per pasta” is also included. The machine measures approximately 7.5–8 inches wide and about 6 inches tall, while the Los Angeles Potteries serving plate measures approximately 13 1/2 inches in diameter.
