Description
This grouping consists of two vintage Glasbake casserole dishes made of white milk glass with a green daisy floral pattern. The dishes feature repeating olive green flower motifs applied to the exterior, with integrated side handles designed for ease of serving. The simple forms and decorative pattern reflect mid-20th-century American kitchenware styling.
The pieces were manufactured by Glasbake during the 1960s–1970s and were produced as functional oven-to-table cookware. The dishes are made of milk glass and were designed for use in ovens, microwaves, and dishwashers. This pattern is commonly referred to as “Green Daisy” and is sometimes also called “Primrose Dream.” Based on common examples, the set likely includes a 1.5-quart dish often marked J2600 and a 2-quart dish often marked J514, though markings should be confirmed by inspection.
The casserole dishes show condition consistent with age and normal household use. Surfaces may exhibit light wear from handling or storage, with the green decoration intact. No cracks, chips, or repairs are assumed without close inspection. The pair presents cleanly and cohesively as a matching vintage Glasbake set.
