A wonderful piece of Western television history and mid-century Americana! This original 1969 Jim Beam Ceramic Decanter celebrates the iconic Ponderosa Ranch theme park in Nevada, home of TV's classic Western series Bonanza.

Designed by C. Miller for Regal China Corp., the front displays a detailed rustic log cabin structure with the emblem "Ponderosa Ranch Nevada" along the base. The reverse shows a picturesque landscape relief of Lake Tahoe framed by snow-dusted mountains, evergreen trees, and a Ponderosa horseshoe brand.

This piece includes its original gold-and-green roofline paper label identifying the BEAM 110-month-old Bourbon (86 proof, 4/5 quart) and original threaded cap. The underside is embossed with factory markings: "Creation of James B. Beam Distilling Co.," "Genuine Regal China," "© C. Miller 1969," and "Liquor Bottle."
