This delightful set of six porcelain rabbit musician figurines each stands on a hand-painted grassy green base with a tree stump music stand, dressed in pastel jackets of blue, pink, and yellow. The ensemble includes players performing on what appear to be a violin, flute, conductor baton, lute or banjo, and other classical instruments, making this a fully staged woodland philharmonic. The bases bear incised numbers including visible markings such as 73, 79, 43, and cross-style impressed marks consistent with mid-century European porcelain production, suggesting these delightful pieces date from the 1970s and were likely crafted in Germany or a similar continental tradition. Each figure is hollow-cast with an oval opening on the underside, features fine hand-applied pastel glazing in excellent vintage condition, and retains remarkable detail in the faces, instruments, and costumes. 6. BUYER’S PREMIUM & TAX: A 12% Buyer’s Premium and applicable sales tax will be added to all purchases.

8. EXTENDED BIDDING: Bids placed near closing automatically extend the lot by 3 minutes until bidding stops.
