This handsome three-drawer nightstand is a textbook example of American Colonial Revival craftsmanship, built from solid cherry wood with a warm reddish-brown finish that only gets better with age. The ornate antiqued brass bail pull hardware on each drawer is classically styled with decorative Chippendale-inspired flair, and the ogee bracket feet at the base give it that stately, heirloom look. Dovetail joinery on the drawer boxes confirms this is quality construction meant to survive generations, and the secondary wood drawer bottoms are clean and solid throughout. The back panel bears a manufacturer stamp reading 3041-O-COM-8-70, suggesting a production date of August 1970, making this a well-preserved 50-plus-year-old piece with only minor surface scratches on the top consistent with honest use.
