BISQUE FIGURAL CENTERPIECE / VASE (Log with Rococo Gentleman): This showstopping hand-painted bisque porcelain centerpiece features a flamboyantly dressed 18th-century gentleman in a blue coat and pink breeches leaning against a hollowed log planter adorned with applied roses and foliage. The detail on the glittering gold accents, ruffled collar, and modeled flowers is frankly outstanding. The unglazed base shows green felt feet, suggesting careful previous ownership. No visible maker mark on the base, though the style is consistent with late 19th to early 20th century Continental European bisque ware.
ELITE LIMOGES FRANCE SUGAR BOWL / SMALL OPEN BOWL: Marked on the base with the red Elite Limoges France shield mark alongside a green star decorator mark, this ribbed white porcelain bowl features delicate hand-painted green ivy trailing across the surface with a scalloped ruffle rim. There is some minor gilt loss and a small chip visible on the rim. A quintessential piece of French Limoges charm at its most domestic and lovely.
RC MALMAISON BAVARIA PLATE WITH RED CURRANTS: Bearing the green RC Malmaison Bavaria mark and a painted artist signature reading something close to "L.H.C.", this scallop-edged plate is hand-painted with luscious clusters of red currants trailing across a soft green-to-blue ground with gilt edge trim. It is a gorgeous example of amateur or studio artist-decorated Bavarian blanks that were wildly popular in the early 1900s.
GREEN CABINET PLATE WITH COURTING SCENE (Unmarked / Blue Mark): This elegant display plate features a vibrant olive green border packed with gilt latticework and cartouches filled with hand-painted floral bouquets, surrounding a central transfer-printed romantic scene of a woman with a cherub in a garden. The backstamp shows a blue architectural or shield-style mark. An old paper label remnant is present. Truly a wall-worthy Victorian parlor statement.
BLUE AND CREAM EMBOSSED PORCELAIN CHARGER / BOWL (Unmarked): This large, wavy-rimmed charger in sky blue and cream features embossed scrollwork around the border with gold floral transfer decoration throughout. The unmarked base is clean white porcelain. This piece has the feel of late Victorian or Edwardian Austrian or German manufacture and makes a dramatic display piece despite the lack of a maker mark.
SET OF TWO FLORAL PINK TRANSFERWARE PLATES (Mixed Marks): These two white porcelain plates feature a delicate pink floral spray pattern with gilt rims and scalloped edges. The backstamps visible in the photo show two different green marks, suggesting they may be from different manufacturers or production runs but are visually complementary. Perfect for a mismatched cottage-chic table setting or display.
FIGURINE OF A BOY IN YELLOW OVERALLS, MADE IN OCCUPIED JAPAN: Standing approximately 4 to 5 inches tall, this charming hand-painted porcelain figurine depicts a rosy-cheeked boy in a wide-brimmed blue hat, yellow overalls, and a blue shirt carrying a basket. The base is clearly marked "Made in Occupied Japan" in red, dating it firmly to 1945-1952. A sought-after category for collectors of Occupied Japan ware, and in very good condition.
HAND-PAINTED GRAPE VASE WITH GOLD HANDLES (Unmarked, Approx. 7.5 Inches Tall): This gorgeous two-handled porcelain vase stands approximately 7.5 inches tall and is decorated with richly painted purple grape clusters and green leaves against a warm amber-to-blush ground with heavy gold handle and base trim. The bottom is unglazed gray bisque with no visible maker mark, consistent with early 20th century Japanese or Continental export ware. The swan-neck double handles are a dramatic touch that elevates this from pretty to spectacular.
RC MALMAISON BAVARIA SCALLOP DISH WITH RED BERRY MOTIF: A second piece bearing the RC Malmaison Bavaria mark, this scallop-edged dish is hand-painted with trailing red berry clusters and green leaves across a softly shaded blue, green, and cream ground with gilt edge detailing. The artist signature "L.H.C." appears again on this piece, suggesting it was decorated by the same hand as the currant plate above, making these a meaningful matched pair.
