Description

This wonderfully primitive antique cabinet is a time capsule straight out of a early 20th-century American kitchen, featuring a thick white porcelain enamel top with the expected chips and character marks that only a century of hard use can deliver. The body is painted in a layered green over what appears to be a wood-grained painted finish beneath, giving it a rich, moody depth that no modern chalk paint job could ever replicate. The piece features one upper drawer with original nickel bail pull hardware, a lower cabinet door with working latch and original hinges, and a completely open interior with raw wood construction that hints at its utilitarian origins as a dry goods or kitchen prep cabinet. 8. EXTENDED BIDDING: Bids placed near closing automatically extend the lot by 3 minutes until bidding stops.
