    Description

    Up for sale is a collection of 5 vintage KLM Royal Dutch Airlines Blue Delft Miniature Houses produced by Bols Amsterdam 1575. Each miniature is crafted in classic Dutch blue-and-white porcelain, capturing the historic architecture of real-world buildings found across the Netherlands.

    Every bottle in this lot remains 100% factory sealed with original wax caps and full genever liquid contents intact. The set also includes an original "The KLM Houses Collection" collector's booklet.

    Background of the KLM Delft Houses: First introduced by KLM Royal Dutch Airlines in 1952, these miniature houses were created as an ingenious workaround to strict international aviation rules that prohibited airlines from giving passengers promotional gifts. To circumvent the restriction, KLM served passengers "a last drink on the house" in custom-made ceramic Dutch canal house bottles filled with traditional Bols Genever gin. Today, these miniature houses remain one of the most famous and coveted collectibles in aviation history.

    1.     House No. 8 – Int Slodt van Egmond, Oudezijds Voorburgwal 18, Amsterdam (Built 1615)

    2.     House No. 13 – D'Gekroonde Bye-korf, Kamp 10, Amersfoort (Built 1687)

    3.     House No. 27 – Prinsengracht 575, Amsterdam (Built 1739)

    4.     House No. 29 – Leidsegracht 108, Amsterdam (Built 1639)

    5.     House No. 34 – Het 's-Hertogenbosch Wijnhuis, Wijnhuisstraat 2, Zutphen (Built 1541)

    Condition:

    • Sealed & Intact: All 5 miniature houses feature intact original wax seals with all liquid contents preserved inside.
    • Ceramic Condition: Excellent vintage condition. No chips, cracks, crazing, or repairs visible across any of the pieces.

    4. ABANDONED ITEMS: Items not picked up without prior Auctioneer approval may be considered abandoned and resold, donated, or disposed of without refund.

    5. WE ARE NOT MOVERS: Bring adequate help, tools, packing materials, and transportation. Loading assistance may be available for an additional fee.

    6. BUYER’S PREMIUM & TAX: A 12% Buyer’s Premium and applicable sales tax will be added to all purchases.

    7. SHIPPING & DELIVERY: Available on select items for an additional fee. See auction details.

    8. EXTENDED BIDDING: Bids placed near closing automatically extend the lot by 3 minutes until bidding stops.
