Type MF-A Single Phase Watthour Meter, serial number 5 839 158, rated 15 AMP, 240 VOLT, 3 WIRE, 60 Hz, with Kh 2 -- pulled straight from working life and given a second act as a display piece. The meter retains its original round glass dome cover, four-dial kilowatt hours register, and spinning disc mechanism, all in remarkably intact vintage condition. It has been thoughtfully mounted inside a handsome dark walnut-stained wood cabinet with Arts and Crafts style lines and a stepped pedestal base, purpose-built for display by A. J.A. Company, whose original label is still affixed to the case. Duncan Electric was headquartered in Lafayette, Indiana, and their meters are a beloved piece of American industrial heritage -- this one is ready to sit on a shelf and spark conversation for another century.

5. WE ARE NOT MOVERS: Bring adequate help, tools, packing materials, and transportation. Loading assistance may be available for an additional fee.

6. BUYER’S PREMIUM & TAX: A 12% Buyer’s Premium and applicable sales tax will be added to all purchases.

8. EXTENDED BIDDING: Bids placed near closing automatically extend the lot by 3 minutes until bidding stops.
