Description

*WINING BIDDER MUST BE 21 YEARS OF AGE. MUST HAVE VAILD ID AT PICKUP*

This is a jaw-dropping piece of Kentucky Wildcats football history wrapped in Maker's Mark's iconic silhouette and dipped in royal blue wax instead of the signature red. Numbered 5162 out of only 18,000 produced, this 2009 limited edition 1.0 liter ceramic bottle honors Coach Rich Brooks, the man who took the reins of a struggling UK football program in 2002 and delivered the program's first bowl victory in 22 years with a win over Clemson in the 2006 Music City Bowl. The bottle features a full-color image of Brooks drawing up plays, the UK Wildcats logo in silver and blue, a blue wax seal stamped 2009, and a white ribbon adorned with repeating UK logos running the full length of the neck. The back tells the whole story in hand-lettered script, and profits from the bottle's sale were directed toward a University of Kentucky School of Music education outreach program in collaboration with the Keeneland Foundation, making this one of the most meaningful sports collectibles to ever come out of the Bluegrass State.
