Description
Here is a 1965 MGB Roadster wearing its original-style white paint with the kind of honest patina that only six decades of actual living can produce, not some showroom faker dressed up for a concours. The car rides on correct knock-off wire wheels wearing Goodyear all-season rubber, sports a chrome luggage rack over the boot lid, and wears its black soft top with the requisite distinguished weariness of a well-traveled gentleman. Inside, the black vinyl bucket seats with white piping are holding up admirably, the British Jaeger speedometer reads 89,742 miles, the original four-spoke steering wheel with its iconic MG badge is all present, and the toggle-switch dashboard still has that wonderfully analog feel that makes modern cars weep with shame. The trunk carries what appears to be the original soft top components along with a spare tire, the wire wheels show some surface rust at the spokes consistent with age, and the sill plates bearing the MG crest are gloriously intact. Registered as a Kentucky Historic Motor Vehicle with plate C-503, this little roadster is ready for a new steward with a tweed cap and a weekend to spare.
