Description

This vintage 5-piece nut bowl set features a classic mid-century folk art design. Crafted from turned solid wood, the footed bowl stands on three wooden ball feet and features hand-painted floral foliage and acorn graphics in vibrant shades of red, green, and yellow. The center of the bowl is fitted with an integrated wooden holder post drilled to hold a nutcracker upright along with four accompanying metal nut picks. Sets of this folk-style wooden design were popular mid-century household tableware accessories, widely produced during the 1950s through the 1970s. 

The bowl includes a set of silver-tone metal cracking tools comprising one hinged double-jaw nutcracker with textured ridged handles and three slim, pointed metal nut picks. The center holder post keeps the tools organized and accessible during snack serving, making it an ideal accent piece for rustic table decor or vintage entertainware collections. 

The set consists of a total item count of 5 pieces: one footed wooden bowl, one metal nutcracker, and three metal nut picks. Based on the measuring tape photographs, the wooden bowl measures approximately 9.5 inches in diameter across the rim and stands roughly 3 inches tall from the base of the ball feet to the top rim.

4. ABANDONED ITEMS: Items not picked up without prior Auctioneer approval may be considered abandoned and resold, donated, or disposed of without refund.

5. WE ARE NOT MOVERS: Bring adequate help, tools, packing materials, and transportation. Loading assistance may be available for an additional fee.

6. BUYER’S PREMIUM & TAX: A 12% Buyer’s Premium and applicable sales tax will be added to all purchases.

7. SHIPPING & DELIVERY: Available on select items for an additional fee. See auction details.

8. EXTENDED BIDDING: Bids placed near closing automatically extend the lot by 3 minutes until bidding stops.

10. AUCTIONEER APPROVAL: Any exception to these terms must be approved in advance by the Auctioneer.
