This commanding solid oak dining table is built for feasts, featuring heavily turned baluster legs, a scalloped apron with decorative round boss accents, and a stretcher base connecting all six legs with classical turned spindles. The tabletop shows beautiful cathedral oak grain across its broad surface, complete with a leaf extension system and two side drawers fitted with antique brass bail pulls for silverware storage. Surface shows light age-appropriate scratching and minor finish wear consistent with loved, well-used furniture, while the base retains excellent structural integrity and handsome detail throughout. The set includes ten matching high-back ladder chairs featuring six horizontal slats, a scalloped crest rail, and distinctive acorn finials crowning each post, all resting on turned front legs joined by a turned stretcher. Two captain armchairs anchor the head positions, boasting gracefully curved swept arms supported by small turned balusters and a scooped solid oak saddle seat. Eight armless side chairs round out the set, each with an identically styled back and deeply contoured solid oak seat that cups comfortably. All chairs show solid construction with minor surface wear consistent with regular use, and the set presents a cohesive, warm honey-brown finish throughout.
