Description

This handsome drop-leaf coffee table is crafted from solid cherry wood, boasting a warm, rich reddish-orange patina that only gets better with age -- the kind of wood grain that makes you stop and stare. The generously sized top opens wide with two drop leaves, giving you flexible surface options whether you are entertaining or keeping things cozy, and a full-width single drawer with classic round turned knobs provides handy storage beneath. Joinery is old-school proper -- machine-cut dovetail construction on the drawer corners speaks to quality craftsmanship, and the elegantly turned baluster-style legs with bun feet add a stately American country or Sheraton-influenced character. Some light surface scratches and minor finish wear are visible on the tabletop and near the leaf seam, consistent with gentle use, but nothing a careful polish or light touch-up cannot address -- this table still has decades of life ahead of it.
