Description

Two footed pitchers anchor this magnificent set, both featuring the classic Iris and Herringbone pattern with bold embossed iris blooms rising from a fine herringbone textured background and ribbed vertical panels — one pitcher stands taller than the other, offering a lovely size variation for the table. Both pitchers retain original price stickers, suggesting they may have come from the same retail source or estate.

SIxteen footed goblets in two sizes accompany the pitchers, all sharing the same Iris and Herringbone pressed glass motif with rayed sunburst bases, knopped stems, and beautifully detailed floral relief — these are the kind of glasses that make lemonade feel like a formal occasion. The goblets show consistent clarity with only light age-appropriate wear, and the larger water goblets are noticeably heavier and more substantial than the smaller wine-sized companions.

Four matching pressed glass plates round out this spectacular lot, each featuring a scalloped edge, herringbone border, and a dramatic central bouquet of iris blooms in high relief — the kind of detail that stops you mid-bite. The plates appear uniform in size and pattern, with excellent clarity and no visible chips or cracks noted in the photographs.
