Description
Up for auction is a scarce and collectible Hi-Standard Model G380 semi-automatic pistol chambered in .380 CTG (.380 ACP), featuring a desirable 5" barrel, blued finish, and original factory box. Production numbers were limited, making surviving examples increasingly difficult to find today.

The Hi-Standard G380 traces its development to experimental military pistol projects from the mid-1940s and was ultimately introduced as a commercial sporting and defensive handgun. Approximately fewer than 8,000 examples are believed to have been produced, contributing to the model’s collector appeal today.
Condition appears very good overall for its age, with the pistol retaining much of its original blued finish showing light handling wear and age-related marks consistent with careful ownership and storage. The included original box adds significant collector value and display appeal. Bore, grips, markings, and mechanical function should be inspected by prospective bidders using the provided photographs.
Collectors and enthusiasts appreciate these early Hi-Standard centerfire pistols for their unique engineering, historical significance, and relative scarcity on today’s market.
