Description

This vintage liquor decanter features a dark, textured black sand-like finish applied over a heavy glass body. The front of the bottle displays a framed reproduction of Henri de Toulouse-Lautrec's famous 1892 French Art Nouveau cabaret poster, "Ambassadeurs: Aristide Bruant dans son cabaret". The artwork depicts French singer and cabaret owner Aristide Bruant wearing his iconic black cape, wide-brimmed hat, and red scarf.

Originally created as part of the collector's "Beam's Choice" Fine Arts series by the James B. Beam Distilling Co., this bottle was originally filled with 8-year-old Kentucky Straight Bourbon Whiskey. The top neck retains its gold-tone foil cap seal bearing a metallic label stamped "4/5 QUART". The bottle body is shaped in a classic flattened flask profile with rounded shoulders, making it a popular mid-century barware collectible.
