Description
Gold Edition State Quarter Collection (2001–2005 & 2007) – 11 Complete Sets
Offered for auction is an attractive Gold Edition State Quarter Collection featuring 11 complete sets dated 2001 through 2005, along with 2007 issues. These coins are gold-layered commemorative editions based on quarters originally issued by the United States Mint as part of the highly popular Statehood Quarter Program.
Each set showcases the distinctive state reverse designs enhanced with a rich gold-layered appearance, giving the coins strong display appeal. These editions were typically produced by private companies after mint release and marketed as collectible keepsakes.
Coins appear well preserved and housed in collection albums/folders (see photos for overall condition and completeness). The gold finish presents attractively, making these ideal for display collections.
These are gold-layered or gold-plated commemorative quarters and are not solid gold coins. Value is primarily collectible rather than bullion-based.
The State Quarter Program remains one of the most widely collected U.S. coin series. Multiple gold edition sets provide excellent resale potential, gift opportunities, or an eye-catching addition to a larger numismatic inventory.
