    Description

Green Mud Hen Ceramic Shop Pitcher (1973): This chunky, bulbous green pitcher with its mottled glaze and creamy white interior is a genuine slice of 1970s American studio pottery. Marked on the bottom with handwritten script reading 'The Mud Hen Ceramic Shop' and dated 1973, this piece carries serious collector credibility. It shows visible crazing and surface wear consistent with its age, and there is a hairline crack visible on the body and base. A charming and authentic studio art pottery find for any serious collector.

Brown Stoneware Mixing Bowl: This wide, no-nonsense brown glazed stoneware mixing bowl is the kind of workhorse piece that sat on every farmhouse counter for a century. The interior carries a warm brown glaze while the unglazed exterior foot ring shows its utilitarian roots proudly. It presents well with only minor wear and no chips visible.

Blue Banded Stoneware Bowl: Small, sturdy, and satisfyingly blue, this ringed stoneware bowl features a rich cobalt glaze over a classic banded form. The unglazed foot shows typical stoneware construction and the piece sits flat and true. A great companion piece for any yellow ware or American country pottery collection.

Black Glazed Stoneware Jar: This cylindrical black glazed crock jar with its unglazed rim and foot carries the kind of brooding presence that makes folk pottery collectors weak in the knees. The glossy black glaze is rich and deeply fired, with minor surface variations that speak to hand craftsmanship. No visible chips or cracks noted.

Small Terracotta Pitcher: Tiny but mighty, this little redware terracotta pitcher with its earthy unglazed clay body and small looped handle is a miniature folk pottery gem. It shows honest wear and surface roughness consistent with age and hand forming. Perfect as a display accent or as a starter piece for a redware collection.
