Description

Here is the end table that makes every other side table in the room feel deeply inadequate. This French Provincial two-drawer end table features a beautifully shaped serpentine top with a routed inset border panel, elegant cabriole legs with scroll feet, and ornate acanthus-leaf cast metal bail pulls that mean business. Standing approximately 23 inches tall with a top measuring roughly 28 by 20 inches, the walnut-toned hardwood case is solid and sturdy with dovetail drawer construction visible in the detail shots -- a hallmark of quality American mid-century furniture production, likely from the 1960s or early 1970s. The top shows some light surface scratches and minor finish wear consistent with age and use, the drawers slide smoothly, and the overall structure is tight and sound -- this piece is ready to anchor a living room or bedroom with serious vintage personality.
