Description

*WINING BIDDER MUST BE 21 YEARS OF AGE. MUST HAVE VAILD ID AT PICKUP*

Here is a genuine piece of bourbon history that has been patiently waiting nearly three decades for the right home. This 1996 dated Maker's Mark Kentucky Straight Bourbon Whisky is a full 1.0 liter bottle, bottled at 45% ABV (90 proof) and sealed tight beneath its iconic ivory-colored drip wax, which remains intact and shows only the natural aging you would expect from a bottle this distinguished. The wax carries four blue ribbon labels reading 1996 and Kentucky on opposing sides, tying it unmistakably to a limited commemorative release from the Samuels family distillery on Star Hill Farm in Loretto, Kentucky. The deep blue label features the classic SIV maker's mark, the full back label story of Bill Samuels Sr. and Jr., and the secondary label boasting the distillery's status as a National Historic Landmark, making this an extraordinarily complete and displayable collectible for any serious bourbon enthusiast or vintage spirits collector.
