This fabulous matched pair of tortoise-finish bamboo and wicker cabinets is the holy grail of Hollywood Regency and Chinoiserie collectors everywhere. Each cabinet stands approximately 33 to 34 inches tall, measures roughly 24 inches wide and 13 inches deep, and features a woven rattan top surface, geometric bamboo fretwork door detailing with clipped octagonal corners, and a dark-stained solid wood interior with one adjustable shelf and brass ball-catch hardware. The frames are crafted from genuine scorched and lacquered bamboo poles with the characteristic tortoiseshell mottling that marks true vintage pieces, while the backs are finished in a classic black lacquered panel. Condition is consistent with age and honest use, including some fraying at the lower bamboo stretcher joints, surface darkening to the wicker panels, and general patina throughout, all of which only adds to the authentic vintage character that reproduction pieces simply cannot replicate.
