Captain Maddox by Louis Marx and Co. is a fully jointed, solid poly-plastic U.S. Cavalry action figure from the legendary Fort Apache Fighters line, item number 1865, manufactured in Glen Dale, West Virginia. The figure stands tall in his molded teal-blue cavalry uniform, complete with yellow neckerchief, black campaign hat, spurs on his boots, and a shoulder strap with canteen -- and he boasts 101 movable action positions letting him sit, stand, kneel, crawl, and ride a horse. The accessory tray is loaded with original black plastic gear including binoculars with case, a pistol, rifle, cavalry saber with basket hilt, bugle, belt with holster, and the original Captain Maddox Equipment Manual. The original box shows honest play-era wear with some edge crushing and surface scuffing, but all four panels retain vibrant artwork and text -- a fantastic display piece in its own right for any Marx Toys enthusiast.

4. ABANDONED ITEMS: Items not picked up without prior Auctioneer approval may be considered abandoned and resold, donated, or disposed of without refund.

5. WE ARE NOT MOVERS: Bring adequate help, tools, packing materials, and transportation. Loading assistance may be available for an additional fee.

6. BUYER’S PREMIUM & TAX: A 12% Buyer’s Premium and applicable sales tax will be added to all purchases.

8. EXTENDED BIDDING: Bids placed near closing automatically extend the lot by 3 minutes until bidding stops.
