This metal lunch box features graphics from the television series “The Six Million Dollar Man,” starring Lee Majors as Steve Austin. The front displays multiple illustrated action scenes, including Austin bending a railroad track, running beside a horse, lifting a large log, and a central portrait image. The reverse shows an action confrontation scene set in a wooded area. The title appears in bold lettering on both sides against a blue background.
The box is dated 1974 by Universal City Studios, Inc., with manufacturing attribution to Aladdin Industries Incorporated, Nashville, Tennessee 37210, printed along the lower edge. It is constructed of lithographed metal with a hinged lid, metal clasp closure, and plastic carry handle. The interior lid features the printed “Safety First” message and graphics associated with Aladdin’s standard production inserts of the period.
This example measures approximately 8 inches wide by 6 ¾ inches high by 4 inches deep. The original blue plastic handle is broken; both detached pieces are present and can be reattached if desired. The metal body, hinge, and latch remain intact.
