This is a stunning limited edition Mastergraphic on canvas by beloved American artist G. Harvey, titled "Springtime in New York," issued in 1995 by Somerset House Publishing and numbered 2111 out of a total edition size of 2250. The atmospheric scene captures a misty, rain-slicked Manhattan street corner dominated by the iconic Flatiron Building, with a flower-laden horse-drawn cart, period pedestrians, and a glowing streetcar evoking the golden age of New York City life. The print is hand-signed by G. Harvey in pencil on the canvas surface and comes with its original Somerset House Publishing Certificate of Authenticity, confirming the edition details including 250 Artist Proofs and 950 standard canvas editions alongside this Mastergraphic run. Presented in a handsome gilt wood frame with a wide mauve mat and gold fillet liner, this piece was originally sold through Marcus Gallery at Oxmoor Center in Louisville, Kentucky, and retains the gallery label on verso; condition shows some light surface scratching to the glazing but the artwork itself presents beautifully.
