This is a Hemingray-42 glass insulator in blue-aqua glass, once used on telegraph and utility poles. The embossing on the front reads “HEMINGRAY – 42,” and the glass shows typical mold seams and air bubbles from manufacturing. There is visible surface wear and some internal dirt, but no major chips or cracks are apparent. A collectible piece of industrial history often repurposed for décor or display.
