Description
This dome-topped wicker and rattan trunk is a rugged little beauty with a hand-woven exterior, bark-covered lid panels, a swing-latch brass closure, and a raw wood interior with remnants of pink velvet trim. She has lived a full life and wears her age with pride, showing honest wear throughout the weave and interior. A wonderful accent piece or craft storage companion with undeniable old-world charm.
This cream leatherette Mele jewelry box is a mid-century classic with a locking brass clasp stamped MELE, a purple satin-lined lid interior, two pull-out blue velvet ring trays, and a divided lower compartment with floral velvet lining. The exterior features sweet stamped floral motifs and the bottom is finished in green felt. Some surface staining and corner wear are present, but the bones are excellent and the Mele name speaks for itself.
This bold Art Nouveau decoupage box steals the show with a stunning Alphonse Mucha-style portrait of a flowing-gowned woman set against a deep teal background with gold Art Nouveau botanical swirls. The interior is lined in aged cream satin and the base reveals its true identity as a sturdy cardboard construction with a decorative paper covering showing some wear and peeling. A gorgeous display piece for the Art Nouveau collector or the lover of beautiful things.

4. ABANDONED ITEMS: Items not picked up without prior Auctioneer approval may be considered abandoned and resold, donated, or disposed of without refund.
5. WE ARE NOT MOVERS: Bring adequate help, tools, packing materials, and transportation. Loading assistance may be available for an additional fee.
6. BUYER’S PREMIUM & TAX: A 12% Buyer’s Premium and applicable sales tax will be added to all purchases.
7. SHIPPING & DELIVERY: Available on select items for an additional fee. See auction details.
8. EXTENDED BIDDING: Bids placed near closing automatically extend the lot by 3 minutes until bidding stops.
