    Description

This magnificent solid cherry drop-leaf dining table by Consider H. Willett, Inc. of Louisville, Kentucky is a true mid-century American heirloom, bearing its original CHW Form 106 notice tag dated November 1956 and model number 1838C. The table features a richly grained two-board cherry top with two generous drop leaves, a classic apron, and a full complement of beautifully turned legs with distinctive ring-and-taper detailing and button feet that would make any Federal-style furniture lover weak in the knees. Underneath, the original gold-stenciled Wildwood Solid Cherry brand mark is clearly visible alongside production number NO 6295, Series L-7, and the table retains its original cam-lock leaf alignment hardware in fine working order.
