This pair includes an antique bowl-back mandolin with decorative inlay around the soundhole and a compact 4-string banjo with a worn drumhead. Both instruments show signs of age, including missing strings, surface wear, and patina, making them better suited for display or restoration than for immediate play. Ideal for collectors of vintage string instruments or use as rustic decor. Sold as-is.
This antique bowl-back mandolin features a teardrop-shaped body with a decorative inlaid pickguard and rosette detailing around the soundhole. The instrument shows signs of age, including missing strings, scuffs, and wear near the bridge area, but retains its original character and craftsmanship. The headstock holds all original tuning pegs, though the condition suggests it is best suited for restoration or decorative display. A classic example of early 20th-century mandolin design.
This vintage 4-string banjo features a worn natural skin drumhead and dark wood fretboard with dot inlays. The instrument shows age-related wear including tarnished hardware, missing bridge, and loose or incomplete strings. The headstock still retains its original tuning pegs and part of an old decal label. Ideal for display, restoration, or as a collectible piece for enthusiasts of early stringed instruments. Sold as-is.
