Description
This dinnerware grouping is from the Noritake Blue Hill collection, pattern number 2482, featuring a clean white porcelain base accented by a soft blue and lavender floral rim design. The restrained floral motif is paired with a platinum-toned trim, giving the pieces a refined, contemporary look typical of late 20th-century table settings. The overall aesthetic balances decorative detail with a streamlined form suitable for formal or everyday use.
The Blue Hill pattern was produced by Noritake between 1973 and 1996. The collection is made of high-quality porcelain and includes a range of functional forms such as dinner plates measuring approximately 10.5 inches in diameter, oval vegetable bowls around 9 inches, assorted smaller bowls for fruit or cereal, footed teacups with matching saucers, and larger oval serving platters often measuring about 14 inches long. The platinum trim provides a subtle metallic accent along the rims.
The pieces show condition consistent with normal use and age, with possible light utensil marks, minor surface wear, or gentle rubbing to the metallic trim. No chips or cracks are assumed without close inspection. As the pattern is discontinued, individual pieces and sets are now typically sourced through vintage and replacement marketplaces. The group presents cohesively as an elegant Noritake porcelain dinnerware collection suitable for display or use.
