Description

This vintage stovetop teapot and teakettle was manufactured by Corning Glass Works under the iconic Corning Ware brand line. Crafted from opaque white Pyroceram glass-ceramic material, it features the beloved Blue Cornflower motif—three stylized blue floral blossoms framed by green-blue foliage—printed prominently on the front side. The body is stamped beneath the handle attachment with the official "CORNING WARE 6 Cup P-104" logo along with the registered trademark cornflower icon, indicating production dating from the late 1960s into the 1970s.

The teapot features a classic bulbous body with a built-in pouring spout and a stainless steel collar band securing a black heat-resistant molded Bakelite handle. It includes a removable black plastic lid equipped with a metal tension assembly designed to hold the lid securely in place during pouring. The glass-ceramic construction makes it suitable for hot water preparation, tea brewing, or vintage kitchen display.

This listing consists of a total item count of two pieces: the main 6-cup teapot body and its removable lid assembly. Model P-104 holds a total capacity of 6 cups (48 fluid ounces), measuring approximately 5.5 inches in total height with the lid in place, 6.5 inches in base body diameter, and about 9 inches in total width from the spout tip to the outer edge of the handle.
