    At the top of this glorious tower sits the Fisher Studio-Standard MT-730 Full Automatic Linear Tracking Turntable, featuring a heavy cast aluminum platter, ST-37LD stylus, and three-button control panel with 33/Auto/45 speed selection -- a genuinely cool piece of linear tracking engineering from the golden age of home audio. Next in the rack is the Fisher Studio-Standard FM-273 AM/FM Stereo Synthesizer Tuner with Quartz Digital Synthesized Tuning, an 8-station call memory, blue fluorescent frequency display, and full AM/FM band switching -- a handsome and capable tuner that still looks sharp behind smoked glass. The Fisher Studio-Standard CR-W46 Stereo Double Cassette Deck rounds out the playback options with dual transport bays, Dolby Noise Reduction, metal tape compatibility, Synchro Dubbing, sequential play, and a three-digit tape counter -- the kind of dual-deck that made mixtapes a serious art form. The Fisher Studio-Standard CA-273 Integrated Stereo Amplifier handles the heavy lifting with a three-band tone control section at 100Hz, 1kHz, and 10kHz, a sliding volume fader, A/B speaker switching, subsonic filter, mono/stereo mode selector, and a power level meter reading up to 150 watts per channel into 8 ohms. Finally, the Fisher Studio-Standard EQ-273 Stereo Graphic Equalizer provides 9-band control per channel spanning 63Hz through 16kHz with plus-or-minus 12dB of adjustment, a tape monitor loop, and REC equalization function -- the finishing touch on a system that takes sound shaping seriously.
