Description

This RCA VR677HF VHS Hi-Fi Stereo 4-Head Video System is the real deal from the golden age of home entertainment, manufactured by Thomson Consumer Electronics out of Indianapolis and made in Malaysia. The unit powers on and displays channel 02 on its orange fluorescent display in SLP mode, meaning the electronics are alive and kicking after all these years. Connectivity is nothing short of impressive for its era, featuring front-panel RCA composite video and stereo audio inputs for camcorder hookup, rear composite audio and video in and out jacks, coaxial antenna in and out ports with a CH3/CH4 selector switch, Auto-Clock Set, Integrated Cable Box Control, and VCR Plus+ programming. The lot comes loaded with two remote controls, the correct-era RCA remote and a bonus N9326 universal-style VCR remote, making this a ready-to-use package for tape digitizers, retro enthusiasts, or anyone who still has a closet full of home movies waiting to be watched.
