This is the Crate G-10, a compact solid-state guitar amplifier manufactured in the USA by SLM Electronics out of St. Louis, Missouri, and this one has clearly lived a life worth talking about. The front panel packs a surprising punch for a practice amp, featuring a Gain knob for the SCG Channel, an SCG Channel Select switch, a Master Volume, and a full three-band EQ section with dedicated High, Mid, and Low controls - all scaled 0 to 10. The open-back cabinet reveals a Crate Custom-branded speaker still wired and ready to go, along with rear-panel Line Out and Headphones jacks for quiet practice or recording. This unit carries a Willis Music dealer sticker (No. 024343, Since 1899, Seal of Quality), adding a nice piece of retail provenance to an already nostalgic piece of American guitar history.
