The Sony STR-K650P is a late-era silver-face powerhouse that refuses to be forgotten, packing Dolby Digital, DTS Surround, and Dolby Pro Logic II into one handsome chassis rated at 175 watts at AC 120V 60Hz. Up front you get a full complement of source selectors covering Video 1, Video 2, DVD, MD/Tape, CD, and Tuner FM/AM, plus a 32-bit architecture 64-bit accumulator resolution DSP chip that Sony branded as Digital Cinema Sound with Cinema Studio EX processing. The rear panel is loaded for bear with optical and coaxial digital inputs, analog RCA inputs for every source, a subwoofer output, monitor outputs, and spring-clip speaker terminals for Front, Center, and Surround channels rated for 8 to 16 ohm impedance. Serial number 8913796, manufactured in Malaysia, and presented here in clean, fully functional condition with the fluorescent display lighting up and confirming inputs across all modes including AM tuner and 2CH Stereo.
