Signed and dated 1998 by Iranian-American artist Hossein M. Nouri, this captivating original pastel drawing on textured paper depicts a dreamlike gathering of mythical forest beings adorned with antlers, elaborate headdresses, and nature-inspired garments, all presided over by an oversized green frog in the foreground. The warm ochres, burnt oranges, and deep forest greens create a lush, otherworldly palette that sits somewhere between surrealism and folk mythology, with a smaller crowned creature perched on the right adding one final layer of enchanted mischief. Measuring approximately 22x28 inches, the work is professionally matted in a complementary teal double mat and housed in a handsome gold-leaf wood frame, presentation-ready for any serious collector. 6. BUYER’S PREMIUM & TAX: A 5% Buyer’s Premium (to cover the credit card and website fees) and there is no sales tax on these charitable purchases.

8. EXTENDED BIDDING: Bids placed near closing automatically extend the lot by 3 minutes until bidding stops.
