This vintage air rifle is a Daisy No. 102 Model 36 lever-action .177-caliber BB gun measuring 30 inches in overall length. It features a classic blued steel receiver and barrel assembly paired with a molded brown stock and decorative lever loop. Stamped clearly along the top of the barrel barrel frame are the manufacturer markings (Daisy Mfg. Co., Rogers, Ark., U.S.A.), U.S. Patent Number 2,758,586, and Register Number 1316318.

The Daisy No. 102 Model 36 model designation was originally introduced in 1936 as an updated 500-shot gravity-fed repeater, replacing the earlier 102 Model 33 from the Depression era. Over its multi-decade production lifespan, the Model 102 series evolved through several variations—ranging from early nickel-plated steel and real wood stocks to later painted steel finishes and synthetic wood-grain stocks.

For this specific rifle, the barrel stamping provides precise timeframe markers for its manufacture. Daisy relocated its headquarters and primary manufacturing operations from Plymouth, Michigan to Rogers, Arkansas in 1958, meaning any gun marked Rogers, Ark. was produced in 1958 or later. Additionally, Patent 2,758,586 was granted in August 1956, and the sequential register number precedes the date-coded serial system Daisy adopted in November 1972. Consequently, this unit was produced between 1958 and 1972.
