Description

This iconic sky-blue plastic Smurf lunch box was manufactured by the King-Seeley Thermos Company and features a vivid illustrated panel on the front showcasing a forest scene with Papa Smurf, Smurfette, Gargamel, Azrael the cat, and several Smurfs at play near a pond, all under the bold red SMURF logo with copyright credit to creator Peyo. The back panel bears a handwritten school name label reading M. Jacobs 5A, adding a genuine slice of childhood history to this well-loved piece, while the bottom is embossed MADE IN U.S.A. and the latch side carries the Thermos brand mark. The lunch box shows honest play wear including surface scratches and grime along the edges and seams consistent with decades of daily use, and the latch, hinge, and handle all remain intact and functional.

4. ABANDONED ITEMS: Items not picked up without prior Auctioneer approval may be considered abandoned and resold, donated, or disposed of without refund.

5. WE ARE NOT MOVERS: Bring adequate help, tools, packing materials, and transportation. Loading assistance may be available for an additional fee.

6. BUYER’S PREMIUM & TAX: A 12% Buyer’s Premium and applicable sales tax will be added to all purchases.

7. SHIPPING & DELIVERY: Available on select items for an additional fee. See auction details.

8. EXTENDED BIDDING: Bids placed near closing automatically extend the lot by 3 minutes until bidding stops.
