This miniature uranium glass stemware piece is a small cordial or brandy-style snifter dating to the Depression glass era or slightly later, likely produced between the 1930s and 1950s. The glass features a rounded bowl form with a short stem and circular foot, executed in a pale green vaseline or uranium glass formulation that fluoresces bright neon green under ultraviolet light. Its compact size and simple molded construction reflect the utilitarian yet elegant stemware styles commonly produced by American glass manufacturers during the early to mid-20th century.
At only approximately 2¾ inches tall, this piece was most likely intended as a cordial, liqueur, tasting, or after-dinner drink glass rather than a full-size brandy snifter. Miniature stemware of this type was often sold individually or as part of small entertaining sets for serving aperitifs, cordials, sherry, or dessert liquors. The softly rounded bowl and short stem are characteristic of streamlined Depression-era and mid-century barware aesthetics, while the uranium content provided the distinctive pale green coloration prized by collectors today.
