This is the Magnavox AS5000 3702 component mini-stack stereo system, a gloriously complete all-in-one audio powerhouse from the mid-1990s that does absolutely everything short of making coffee. The stack includes a Stereo Synthesized Tuner with digital FM/AM display and 8 station presets, a separate amplifier section with Bass and Treble controls, a Stereo Dual Cassette Deck featuring Tape 1 REC/PLAY and Tape 2 PLAYBACK with Synchro Dubbing and Continuous Play functions, and a 3-Disc Automatic CD Changer with Random, Repeat, Program, and M.Scan modes. Both matching Magnavox bookshelf speakers are included and connect via spring-clip terminals rated at 8 ohms minimum, and the rear panel of the main unit confirms Model AS5000 3702, Serial 70704115, assembled in Malaysia under Philips Consumer Electronics. The lot is complete with the original Magnavox remote control, the AM loop antenna, the FM 300-ohm antenna bracket, and all speaker wire, with the tuner display confirmed powered on and reading FM1 at 87.5 MHz like a champ.
