This is a genuinely rare piece of Kentucky bourbon history -- a 1998 limited edition Maker's Mark Kentucky Straight Bourbon Whisky bottled exclusively to celebrate the University of Louisville's 200th anniversary (1798-1998). The 1-liter bottle (33.8 fl oz) is sealed with Maker's Mark's iconic black wax, stamped with the Louisville Cardinals mascot medallion, and features a red tamper band printed with both '1798' and '1998' to mark the bicentennial. The back label features a personal letter signed by Bill Samuels Jr., President of Maker's Mark Distillery, pledging all profits from this very limited release to UofL's School of Education scholarship fund. Bottled at 45% ABV (90 proof), old style sour mash, distilled and bottled at Star Hill Farm in Loretto, Kentucky -- this bottle appears intact, wax unbroken, and is a true collector's trophy for bourbon enthusiasts and Cardinals fans alike.

4. ABANDONED ITEMS: Items not picked up without prior Auctioneer approval may be considered abandoned and resold, donated, or disposed of without refund.

5. WE ARE NOT MOVERS: Bring adequate help, tools, packing materials, and transportation. Loading assistance may be available for an additional fee.

6. BUYER’S PREMIUM & TAX: A 12% Buyer’s Premium and applicable sales tax will be added to all purchases.

8. EXTENDED BIDDING: Bids placed near closing automatically extend the lot by 3 minutes until bidding stops.
