Description

This is a genuine vintage White Mountain Triple Motion Electric Ice Cream Freezer, Model 4E, manufactured by the White Mountain Freezer Company of Winchendon, Massachusetts, one of the most storied names in American ice cream history. The teal-painted stave wood bucket is held together by metal banding, shows honest patina and wear throughout including surface rust on the bands and a drilled hole in the upper stave, and retains its original diamond-shaped label that proudly declares it the leading ice cream freezer of the world. The cream-colored cast metal electric motor head is embossed with the Electric White Mountain Freezer Model 4E branding and still has its original power cord attached, while the lot also includes the aluminum inner canister lid with square drive hub and the cast metal dasher paddle assembly complete with its wooden side rails. Everything here is original, complete, and gloriously well-used, making this an ideal display piece or a functional restoration project for the dedicated vintage kitchen collector.
