What is a snipe bidder?

A snipe bidder is someone who places a bid right before the time expires in hopes to “snag” an item at the very end and prevent other people from placing more bids. In our auctions, if a bid has been placed in the last 3 minutes, then the auction will be extended so that there will be 3 more minutes of bidding before the auction ends.
